MONTH IN REVIEW: JUNE

June 30, 2017

Summer is upon us and my favorite holiday is just around the corner.  You will soon learn all about my love for the 4th of July next month.  Jeff and I are trying to stay cool in this heatwave by doing activities in the morning before it gets too hot.  We recently found a new hiking trail that is also a working lemon grove in the heart of Orange County!  Needless to say, we will be going back again shortly and bringing a pup or two with us.

Life Updates
The beginning of June brought the end of the school year and final projects for my theater students.  If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen a few pictures from my student’s performances.  I am always so amazed at their creativity.  As soon as school was out, I took a trip back east for a few days to visit Baltimore, Maryland, and York, Pennsylvania.  I absolutely loved the city of York and was amazed at all the history of the city.  I even had some time to take in a minor league baseball game to cheer on the York Revolutions.  Since being back Jeff and I have been busy trying to do things on our bucket list.  So far together we have found a new hiking trail that is also a working lemon grove.  The view at the top of the hill was breathtaking.

Love It
I have a very classic style, think Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly combined, so now that scarfs accessories are making a style comeback I am always on the lookout for a cute, stylish one.  I recently came across this polka dotted beauty and would love to pair it with this mix media blouse and dark skinny jeans.  Perfect outfit for both work and more importantly date nights.
