MONTH IN REVIEW: JANUARY 2018

February 12, 2018

January was a pretty uneventful month if I’m being completely honest.  It wasn’t that I wasn’t busy it just was more an issue of my “new” schedule taking over the better part of the month away from me.  Over committing has always been an issue of mine.

Life Updates

Once school was back in session the second week of the month I jumped right into musical auditions for our spring show, The Boy Friend.  For you those of you who might not know this musical it was Julie Andrews Broadway debut, and I was also in this show my senior year of high school so there is a bit of sentimentality that goes with it.  Between musical rehearsals, teaching, and taking care of my Grandma fulltime on weekends I have had little down time and thus little time to blog.  My grandma and I did have a fun outing to see Crazy For You.  Hard to believes is two months away from being 95.  I treasure our time together.

Jeff has been equally as busy adjusting to being the head golf coach at a university and recruiting players.  It is such a joy to see him in his element.  I’m not sure how February is going to shape up, but I am looking forward to two big celebrations, first our wedding anniversary (one year!) and my birthday.
