I am so excited to be starting my new series, Monday Musings, where I will share a few of my thoughts, what is going on in my husband’s and my lives, and links to posts, products, or anything I found interesting from the past week and want to share with all of you. This new series will be replacing my former Month In Review, because, let’s be honest, my Months In Review posts have been few and far between, so I will be changing to A Season In Review, which you can find at the end of every season. So, without further ado, grab a cup of coffee, settle in for the day ahead, and enjoy my first Monday Musings post.
Over the last two weeks, I’ve been on spring break from my teaching job. It was so nice to have two weeks off to stop and recharge my batteries so I can finish the last seven weeks of the school year strong. During my first week off, I traveled with my husband, Jeff, and 10 of his Vanguard University golfers to Lincoln, California for the men’s and women’s GSAC golf championship. It was four wonderful days spent supporting his players and Jeff as they completed their inaugural season. The women won the championship, the men finished in the top five, and Jeff was honored with the GSAC coach of the year award. I’m so proud of him and all the hard work and dedication he has put into founding these teams.

My second week off we celebrated Easter with our families over the weekend, attended Easter services at church, and celebrated my mom’s birthday! It has certainly been a fun-filled and busy two weeks. And, now that my batteries are recharged, I’m ready to get back into the routine of school. Oh, and only seven more weeks until summer break, but who’s counting?
