My Favorite Books of 2021

Well, 2021 proved to be a very busy year for me, I started a new job in July and began working on my PhD, but through it all, I still found time for one of my favorite activities, reading! This year I read or listened to over 110 books. My Goodreads goal for the year was 75 books. I’m pretty proud of myself, but I’m thankful for the escape into fictional worlds reading provides for me most of all. 

Like last year, I struggled to list my top ten favorite books, so instead, I will list my favorite books from every month. I have rated all these books highly with either four or five stars. You can also check out my favorite reads from 2020 in this post.

For the most part, it was a great year of reading. This year I am lowering my reading goal to accommodate all my graduate school readings which I don’t count towards my reading goal. This year my goal is 50 books. I’m ready for my next literary adventure!
