I can’t believe it is going to be August in a few days. My school activities start in two weeks, and I’m back to the hectic teacher schedule. I can honestly say I’m ready for my school year routine to begin but I am going to miss my relaxing summer evenings without the worries of the day to come. Nothing beats relaxing on the patio with a tasty snack and refreshing drink.
Earlier in the month, SkinnyPOP reached out to me to about an opportunity to share my favorite seasonal cocktail paired with one of their delicious popcorn flavors. Of course, I was more than excited to say yes to their request. First, I researched their flavor offerings and was I surprised at what they have to offer, with eight different flavors of popped popcorn. And, not only is there a variety of flavors but they are healthy, made from premium popcorn kernels, sunflower oil, and salt, with no artificial ingredients, no artificial flavors, no GMO, and preservative free. I decided to come up with a little summer cocktail, with my favorite wine, rosé as the main ingredient combined with another quintessential summer refresher lemonade, add a splash of vodka to create a smooth and refreshing Rosé Lemonade cocktail. I paired my cocktail with the naturally sweet popcorn, from SkinnyPOP to create a sweet and tangy pairing. Isn’t this drink so chic? And, better yet it is so refreshingly perfect for warm summer evenings. If you are planning to have your friends over soon consider serving Rosé Lemonade cocktails paired with SkinnyPOP Natural Sweet popcorn.
