WE ARE MOVING!

June 28, 2018

I have exciting news, we are moving!  (Actually we moved a few weeks ago.)  Jeff and I are not moving to far from our current location, just a few cities over, back to my hometown of Yorba Linda.  Though it isn’t far geographically, in California terms that means a few extra hours a week in the car for a commute to work, but it is so worth it because we will once again be near our friends, my family, and our church.
Our pups will have a large patio to play on, five times the size in our current condo, as well as access to several walking trails to explore.  And, we are gaining so much extra space moving up from a two-bedroom 800 square foot condo to a 1,619 square foot townhouse with three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, defined dining room and family room, a working fire place and lots of storage.  Jeff and I will each have our own space to decorate and I can tell you he is overly enthusiastic of his man cave as I am for my studio space.  Plus, our new home is two stories so no more noisy neighbors upstairs.  Can you tell I am excited?  Until the big move in early June here are a few pictures (sorry they are so dark) of the space we are moving into.

I can’t wait to share our adventure with all of you.  And did I mention decorating?  We currently do not have much in the way of furniture and what we do have is very transitional, so it can go with whatever style we pick.  I’m looking forward to redefining my design to follow more closely with this home and its urban environment.  Since finding out we were moving, I have been scrolling through thousands of pictures on Pinterest, pinning all the decor ideas I like.  There are so many, and right now I am stuck on traditional decor or California Coastal decor.

What are your thoughts?  As you saw from the pictures above we pretty much have a blank canvas to decorate.  I would love to hear from any or all.
