Serves 8
Ingredients:
4 Haas Avocados (or 2 Jumbo Haas Avocados)
2 Teaspoons Minced Garlic
¼ Cup Chopped Red Onion
2 Tablespoons Chopped Cilantro
2 Limes, Juiced
½ Teaspoon Sea Salt
Directions:
- Begin by prepping all of your ingredients except the avocado. (Hint: I used a mini prep to chop the cilantro and red onion. This helped to make a smoother guacamole.)
- Wash and cut the avocados open, removing the pit, and scoop the avocado out of the skin and place into a medium mixing bowl.
- Add remaining ingredients: garlic, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, and sea salt to bowl with avocado.
- Using a potato masher or avocado masher, mash together ingredients until the mixture is your desired chunkiness.
- Serve immediately. Guacamole can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
