This past year was full of a lot of ups and downs, however, it was also a year where I found time to do things that I truly enjoy, like reading! Sometimes through challenges we can find peace from chaos, and that is exactly what happened for me with an escape into my fictional worlds which reading provided. In fact, in 2020, I read or listened to over 70 books, (My Goodreads goal was 65 books.), by far my best year to date on the reading front!
As I sat down to write this post, I realized that I was struggling to list just my top ten favorite picks of the year, so instead I am going to list my favorite books from every month. I have rated all these books highly with either four or five stars.

For the most part, it was a great year of reading. This year my goal is 75 books. I’m ready for my next literary adventure!
