A few weeks ago, I shared with all of you that we were moving. Well, we’ve been moved into our new townhouse for about a month and a half now and other than moving our belongings from our condo to the townhouse, we haven’t really done much. I’m really hoping our new house will be our home for a very long time, (fun fact, since 2008 I have moved every two year, yikes!) and I am taking the decorating process very seriously. Our Master Bedroom is actually pretty big for a townhouse, so we upgraded our bed from a queen to a king-sized bed. Wow, what a world of difference that makes, especially when you share your bed with another human, a cat, and a dog or two every night. Things can get a little cramped!
For the overall feel of our home I am going for a “California-Coastal-Modern” look with a hint of Traditional. After searching Pinterest for inspiration, I have decided to decorate our bedroom oasis with a light and airy white color palette, accented with linen textures. My favorite bedroom designs come from Harlowe James. I just love her mix of patterns, textures, flowers, books, and soft linens. Check out her lovely apartment tour here and see why I fell in love with her design style. After a lot of searching on the internet, here is my inspiration for our master bedroom. I can’t wait to get started decorating, one room at a time.
