Happy Birthday, Beowulf! For as long as I can rem Happy Birthday, Beowulf! For as long as I can remember I have wanted a Scottie dog. That day finally came in my mid-twenties. The day I met Beowulf we became instant best friends and he has been my loyal companion through bath times, trips to the fur steelers (groomers), moves across country, adopting more pups, birthday parties, and all the pictures I insist on taking. We have loved each other through all our adventures together. Today he's turning 15 years old! I wish we could have 15 more years together, but I know that's unlikely, so I'll treasure every day we have have together. Love you now and always, Sir Beowulf of Loch Ness the best Scottie in the world. 🐶❤️

Well, 2021 proved to be a hectic year for me, I st Well, 2021 proved to be a hectic year for me, I started a new job in July and began working on my PhD, but through it all, I still found time for one of my favorite activities, reading! This year I read or listened to over 110 books. 😄 My Goodreads goal for the year was 75 books. 📚 I’m proud of myself, but I’m thankful for the escape into fictional worlds reading provides for me most of all. Today, on the blog (link in bio), I’m sharing my favorite books from every month in 2021.
